Commissioned by LANLANLI Medical Aesthetic Center & DEVOLUTION, Linear Fiction represents a reimagining of envy envy & File studio's installation aesthetics, translated into video installations.

The virtual life-forms' narrative unfolds in one installation as a pseudo-documentary trailer, charting the progression from abstract lines to microscopic observations, and from the gradual processes of natural evolution to the lifeforms' ultimate forms. Within this constructed framework of fictionalized logic, we have crafted a speculative history for these lifeforms, encapsulated in the narrative's suggestion: the Lines from the East-we cannot touch them, only feel them.
